Master stylist Jon Reyman’s new Spoke & Weal salon in Soho has become a kind of hair repair shop for everyone from editors to fellow stylists. That’s not surprising: Reyman has made a career of playing teacher, pledging to stay relevant through meticulous standards and a desire to help others—not just a roster of celebrity clients (though his lineup has included Lana Del Rey and Sienna Miller)—rise. “My goal is to evolve and be the best that I can, while helping to better others both in and behind the chair,” says the NYC-born-and-bred stylist, who was an aspiring human rights attorney working at legal aid when he realized he’d rather handle hair. “I believe in abundance.” Continue reading…
