DAY 1
ADVANCED CUTTING I (Mannequin Workshop) Build upon core foundations of cutting and learn how to personalize your work while adapting to the diverse needs and tastes of your clientele. Create custom looks for any hair type. Refine your techniques in: Product usage Create weightless layers Remove density and weight while maintain length Creating Shape Disconnection Undercut Softened/blunt Dry cutting
DAY 2
ADVANCED CUTTING II – Model Workshop Reinforce your advanced cutting techniques. Jon will do a demonstration in the morning session. Participants will cut models in the afternoon session. Focus on: Consultation Customization of weight, density, texture, length and shape. Dry cutting.
DAY 3
CURLY CUTTING (Model workshop)Leave this session with a better understanding of naturaL hair texture and cutting techniques of how to control shape. Emphasis on understanding products to gain control of texture, how to translate cutting techniques to curly hair, and training the eye to see shape in a modern way. DAY 4
MEN’S CUTTING (model/mannequin workshop) MEN’S CUTTING (model workshop) Learn how to customize and create long lasting cuts for mens’ hair. We will work on a series of long to short mens cutting techniques to control length, shape, density, and texture. Product understanding and techniques are incorporated to create all finished looks. Develop your craft in: advanced men’s barbering techniques scissor over comb clipper clipper over comb texturizing remove density refine shape
